Patricia & Luke’s Shining Tides Wedding – A Coastal Celebration in Mattapoisett, MA
Patricia & Luke’s wedding at Shining Tides in Mattapoisett, MA, was an intimate, heartfelt celebration with their closest family and friends. This was my second wedding with this wonderful family, along with many family photo sessions over the years, and it was such an honor to document another milestone for them. The way they center everything around family, love, and connection is something I admire so much.
Patricia got ready at Village Mooring before meeting Luke for a first touch—a sweet, quiet moment where they held hands, without actually seeing each other before the ceremony. It was a beautiful alternative to a first look, filled with just as much anticipation and emotion.
Patricia and Luke went for a beachy boho wedding style, with the ocean views, natural textures, and a warm, relaxed vibe. Of course Shining Tides is perfect for this wedding style. Especially in the heart of summer, when the ocean breeze drifts through the sea grass and hydrangeas, and the shades of blue all around make for the most dreamy, beachy backdrop.
We took full advantage of the stunning surroundings for portraits, and at sunset, we made our way to the dock overlooking Mattapoisett Harbor—sunsets here are always amazing with every shade of pink, purple and blue.
Russell Morin Catering delivered (as always) with an incredible dinner, and from there, the party was on. The dance floor stayed packed all night, and Patricia & Luke wrapped up their celebration with a glowing exit, surrounded by their loved ones waving sparkling glow sticks in the night air.
