Kelly & JD’s intimate micro wedding at home was more than just a celebration of their love—it was the start of a new chapter as a family. Set in Central Massachusetts, their private residence wedding was warm, personal, and filled with meaningful moments that made the day truly unforgettable.
From the start, this wasn’t just about two people getting married. Kelly’s two children were just as much a part of the day, making it an emotional and beautiful family union. Kelly shared a first look with her son, JD had a first look with Kelly’s daughter, and of course, Kelly & JD had their own private moment together. Cue the tears!
The entire wedding took place inside their home, transformed into a romantic and luxurious space. Cameron & Fairbanks filled the rooms with lush florals and greenery, while warm uplighting created an intimate, cozy atmosphere. Upstairs, the kids had their own special area with tents and activities, making sure they were just as much a part of the celebration.
Dinner was nothing short of spectacular—Dine with the Henrys prepared a private multi-course meal, giving the couple and their guests a fine-dining experience right at home.
One of my absolute favorite moments of the day? The portraits we created with JD’s grandfather’s red pickup truck. It was an early spring day, misty and foggy, and I lit the truck from the inside, giving it that extra pop. The result was a breathtaking image that meant the world to JD, a tribute to his late grandfather that he will cherish forever.
