They serve a large and eclectic menu of seafood, classics, pasta specialties, Nuvo modern and American cuisine. In addition to weddings, you can visit Val’s any time for lunch or dinner. They often offer live music on the weekends.
Val’s also hosts other types of private events such as showers, parties and bereavement meals.

The menu is extensive and the options are endless. You will be sure to find the options to create your perfect event menu. Val’s has multiple options for plated dinners as well as buffets. Hors D’oeuvres can be stationed or passed. Brunch is also an option.
For nearly 30 years as a leader in the restaurant industry, Valerie James and her team has been awarded countless awards and press, including Best Seafood Restaurant, Best Family Restaurant, Best Function Room and inducted into organizations including Les Amis d’Escoffier and Les Dames d’Escoffier. Val also took part in an award-winning documentary, A Fine Line, which explores why less than 7% of head chefs and restaurant owners are women.

The Function Room serves up to 200 for sit-down dinners and up to 277 for hors d’oeuvre parties. The function room is eloquently decorated and adorned with high coffered ceilings. There is a large dance floor where you can be sure to have a lively party. There is plenty of space for dessert, gift and photo display tables too.
Just outside the function room is a Private Bar area and Stone Water Feature Wall. This room is perfect for a wedding ceremony or cocktail hour. There is plenty of room for a photo booth if you will be renting one for your event.
