Bancroft’s Castle Sunset View Point Proposal with Dominik & Katherine
Dominik and Katherine’s engagement proposal took place at Bancroft’s Castle Sunset View Point in Groton, MA, and from the moment Dominik first reached out, I knew this one was going to be special. Dominik lives out of state, but he had a clear vision and goal. He wanted the proposal to feel intentional, meaningful, and completely unforgettable for Katherine.
Katherine is from Central Massachusetts, and Dominik had never been to Gibbet Hill Castle before, which made it the perfect cover for getting her there. I helped Dominik plan the logistics so everything would feel natural and run smoothly. And it worked out perfectly.
Bancroft’s Castle in Groton, MA is breathtaking on its own, especially at sunset. The sweeping views and the stone ruins make it feel like you’ve stepped into another world. It’s also a filming location from the most recent Little Women movie, which happens to be one of Katherine’s favorites! That detail made the location even more meaningful.
When Dominik proposed, Katherine was genuinely shocked. The surprise and emotion were real and the moment felt straight out of a storybook. Once the excitement settled, we walked the grounds together, exploring the castle ruins and taking in the sunset views. The photos speak for themselves. Absolutely stunning. One of a kind!
