Tower Hill Botanic Garden is a four season display of the finest plants. The gardens are meticulously planned. The collections feature ornamental, edible and native plants and trails throughout the 171 acre property. Tower Hill host many events throughout the year, making this a must see destination. As a family, we visit many times throughout the year because we love Tower Hill so much.
In season, Tower Hill can accommodate 150 guests and if needed they have in door locations for all parts of your day.
New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill has many beautiful spaces for you to take advantage of.
Wedding Ceremony Locations
Ceremonies can take place in the Secret Garden or the Limonaia Conservatory. The Secret Garden is an enclosed garden – surrounded by a double stair case, large trees and mature landscaping. This outdoor spot has a beautiful afternoon glow on sunny days. The Limonaia Conservatory is spacious with tall ceilings, large windows and clean lines. You can’t go wrong with this luxurious, yet simple, indoor space.
Wedding Cocktail Hour Locations
Cocktail Hour can be held in either the Winter Garden or Great Hall. The Winter Garden is a favorite of mine. Flanked by both conservatories you can enjoy the large reflection pool and Tower Hill’s famous turtle fountain. The Winter Garden is at it’s finest in season, but is designed to look great through out all seasons. The Great Hall has an enormous stone fire place and a terrace which opens up, where you can enjoy a view of Wachusett Reservoir.
Wedding Receptions Locations
Receptions are held in the Orangerie conservatory. The Orangerie is a grand space with a glass ceiling, as well as floor to ceiling glass walls and doorways. The Orangerie is stunning during summer evenings when you can look up at dusk and see the deep blue sky.
Two of my favorite spots to photograph during weddings are the Systematic Garden and Lawn Garden. Another favorite spot to take couples, specifically at sunset, is the field where you can overlook Wachusett Mountain and Wachusett Reservoir.
