New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill – Wedding Venue
Planning a New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill Wedding?
New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill is a gem of a venue tucked away in Boylston MA. If you love plants or gardening, or if you long for the tropics, a New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill wedding is for you!
Tower Hill Botanic Garden is a four season display of the finest plants. The gardens are meticulously planned. The collections feature ornamental, edible and native plants and trails throughout the 171 acre property. Tower Hill host many events throughout the year, making this a must see destination. As a family, we visit many times throughout the year because we love Tower Hill so much.
In season, Tower Hill can accommodate 150 guests and if needed they have in door locations for all parts of your day.
New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill has many beautiful spaces for you to take advantage of.
Wedding Ceremony Locations
Ceremonies can take place in the Secret Garden or the Limonaia Conservatory. The Secret Garden is an enclosed garden – surrounded by a double stair case, large trees and mature landscaping. This outdoor spot has a beautiful afternoon glow on sunny days. The Limonaia Conservatory is spacious with tall ceilings, large windows and clean lines. You can’t go wrong with this luxurious, yet simple, indoor space.
Wedding Cocktail Hour Locations
Cocktail Hour can be held in either the Winter Garden or Great Hall. The Winter Garden is a favorite of mine. Flanked by both conservatories you can enjoy the large reflection pool and Tower Hill’s famous turtle fountain. The Winter Garden is at it’s finest in season, but is designed to look great through out all seasons. The Great Hall has an enormous stone fire place and a terrace which opens up, where you can enjoy a view of Wachusett Reservoir.
Wedding Receptions Locations
Receptions are held in the Orangerie conservatory. The Orangerie is a grand space with a glass ceiling, as well as floor to ceiling glass walls and doorways. The Orangerie is stunning during summer evenings when you can look up at dusk and see the deep blue sky.
Two of my favorite spots to photograph during weddings are the Systematic Garden and Lawn Garden. Another favorite spot to take couples, specifically at sunset, is the field where you can overlook Wachusett Mountain and Wachusett Reservoir.
Tower Hill works exclusively with Peppers Artful Events and ARTbar for weddings. Peppers is award winning and their food is just amazing. Their service is always the highest quality and their displays are always stunning and unique. Peppers is also featured on our Vendor page.
We love this venue, it’s listed in Our Favorite Central Mass Wedding Venues.

Thank you, Audrey!
Hiring photographer Audrey Cutler was one of the best wedding investments my husband and I made in 2019. We were looking for a more laid back photography approach (meaning “not in the Minister’s or our faces) at both the wedding ceremony and reception, and Audrey was spot on.
She was the ultimate professional—encouraging, a leader, and calm under pressure—and knew where to go at Tower Hill Botanic Garden to snap the best images. Audrey was able to capture great candid expressions too, something friends and family both commented on when browsing through photos online. The quality of her images was worth the expense!
Our families—especially our mothers—loved working with Audrey. She was helpful to them, and even sent them both a professional photo after the wedding. And Audrey went out of her way to take sunset photos not only of us newlyweds but also of our siblings with their children. Everyone appreciates it. Finally, we had engagement photos taken at our house, which we will treasure forever. Thank you for everything, Audrey!

I would love to photograph your New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill wedding.
Being your New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill wedding photographer gives me an advantage because I know the venue extremely well – having photographed weddings here for 6 years. This venue is very large and the photography possibilities are endless. This is why I always ask my couples what their favorite spots are. That way we maximize our time. I am happy to suggest the best spots to use and the best times to photograph. I have photographed rainy and sunny days here. So I know where to go indoors if the weather is not great.
