Again, like all of June, we prepared for rain on the day of Meg and Rob’s Stepping Stone Ranch wedding. Instead, they were blessed with blue skies. What a gorgeous day! Just as gorgeous were all of the details of the day carefully planned out by Meg and Rob, and executed with the help of friends and family. From the trail mix bar, the cloth wrapped vases with wildflowers, the handmade ribbons for all the guests, to the handmade bird house adorned arbor, to only name a few! The ranch has all the charm on it’s own, but Meg and Rob really emphasized it’s rustic feel. From start to finish, the day was amazing. Everything they had hoped for.
Thank you Meg and Rob! What an amazing day! So. Much. Fun.
Love!

MEG+ROB
How did you both meet?
Meg and Rob met in the fourth grade at Houghton Elementary School.
What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?
Meg: “Walking down the field and to the aisle with my Mom, and getting to pass by all my favorite people. Listening to Mel pull off an amazing ceremony, and crying tears of joy listening to the best man and maid of honor speeches. Rob and I had the best day ever! From the vows, getting yelled at for climbing on the hay during our impromptu photo of all the guests, to the amazing last dance! It was the most perfect day. What a way to start this next phase of our lives!”
Rob: “The last dance when everyone was out there with their ribbons having a blast with us.”
What was the funniest?
Meg: “The amazing dance moves passionately executed on the dance floor, suspenders and mighty mouse, ribbon dancer sword fights, “let’s have a kiki,” Rob a “female Katie” and getting EVERYONE who was left at the reception to come out for a group picture.” Rob: “The venue owner’s run/gallop to tell us to get off of the condemned barn structure for the group photo (and then taking it anyway)” No worries, we safely executed this shot =)Advice for future brides and grooms?
Meg: “Amazing vendors who are easy to work with and do an incredible job. They (especially Audrey and Cody) made our time so relaxed and run so smoothly. We couldn’t be happier!!”
Rob: “a. Write down everything you want to happen that day as early as possible and communicate/confirm it early too. That’s the best way to avoid stress on the big day. I think…
b. Have amazing friends and family who make everything work out perfectly.
c. Hire great photographers like Cody and Audrey!”
