Meg & Justin – Wachusett Mountain Elopement Wedding
Meg and Justin had a simple, yet so very beautiful, elopement wedding on Wachusett Mountain with their immediate family. Justin proposed to Meg at the top of the mountain after biking all the way up. Meg wrote about their proposal on her own blog, Foodie Cycles.
Meg had planned to wear a simple tea length dress. At some point along the way she changed her mind and went with a stunning, full length gown. Meg wanted to surprise Justin as she got out of the limo at the mountain. He was definitely shocked. This was so fun! We love surprises! Meg’s Dad also thought she would be wearing a tea length dress. We decided to surprise Meg’s Dad with a “first look” in her childhood home’s back yard before the ceremony. So sweet.
Meg and Justin ended the intimate evening at Sonoma with their family.
Thank you Meg and Justin. We had a ball driving all over the mountain to get the most perfect images.
Much Love!

Meg’s parents are the cutest.
The “first look” with Meg’s Dad.
Meg framed a picture of her self wearing her surprise dress, which she gave to her father. He opened it right before Meg walked out to the back yard. In the photo she held a sign which said “Forever your little girl!” Awwww.
Meet Sly; Meg and Justin’s pup. What a handsome boy!

Love this =)Love these two consecutive shots. Justin is so happy to see Meg get out of the limo. In the second, you can see the surprise on his face as he realized Meg was not wearing the dress he expected.
How beautiful is this view!?
Sly sat at Meg and Justin’s feet through the whole ceremony.
Love these. How cute are they!?

How did you both meet?
Meg: “We met in college in 2004 at worcester state. We lived across the hall from each other.”
What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?
Meg: “I have two memorable parts of the day. The first one was seeing my dad’s face as I walked out in my dress. Then, standing, holding Justins hands, looking at him and realizing in a few short moments we would be husband and wife.”
Justin: “Seeing Megan get out of the Limo in a long wedding dress, all along I was thinking she was wearing a short one!”
What was the funniest?
Meg: “Funniest part was probably seeing Sly lying down next to Justin and Joni at the end of the aisle, in his bowtie, looking handsome as ever.” Justin: “Having sly panting the whole time as we were saying our vows and exchanging the rings.”Advice for future brides and grooms?
Meg: “Advice I would give to the bride and groom would be to keep it simple, stay with your plan and involve those that will be with you forever.”
Justin: “Do what you want to do, it’s all about what makes you happy, that’s it!”MEG+JUSTIN’S SONG
- First dance: “What A Wonderful World”
