Kite and Paper Airplane Themed Wedding at Harrington Farm
Julie & Nathan 4.5.14
Julie and Nate had a Kite and Paper Airplane Themed Wedding at Harrington Farm. They are both teachers. (You know how we have a soft spot for teachers!) They both love literature and decorated the tables with all the classics. They designed their invitations with adorable caricatures of themselves, which Nate illustrated and watercolored! Julie and Nate brought so much of themselves into their wedding. =)
Oh, Julie and Nate! What an amazing crew you had and a gorgeous April day for a celebration. We could not be more happy for these two! I will let you guys in on a little secret, some of you may not know. Nate taught us to swing dance for our wedding! We stumbled our way through it, and came out unscathed. That was almost 5 years ago! Whew. But we could not wait to see Nate spin his new bride on the dance floor, like a PRO!
So we started at the Colonial Inn, where Julie and the ladies got ready. Then headed to Our Lady of the Lake for the ceremony. Finally, we we off to party it up at Harrington Farm!
Kites, Paper Airplanes and Po-Go Sticks!
So. Much. Fun. Thank you, thank you Julie & Nate! So much happiness for you two.
And we will end with our favorite shot!
Much Love!
Audrey & Cody

The ladies seeing Julie for the first time.
Check out the amazing invitations Julie and Nate designed and made! Nate hand painted each set of caricatures popping out of the paper airplane. Love it!Julie getting ready to walk down the aisle with her twin brother.Yay!!! They are MARRIED!How amazing do they look!?Loving the navy and mint! Perfect colors for the early spring.Adorable.Of course we had to do a little dancing on the porch. This was one of the few times that day, that the sun peaked out from the behind clouds. It was so worth the wait!Guiding the way through the back roads of Princeton were giant paper airplanes! It was chilly outside, but warm and cozy inside Harrington Farm.Julie and Nate decorated with rustic and ornate frames, milk glass, and classic books. We loved this guest book/keepsake idea. Super fun!First Dance!Julie danced with each of her brothers! =)The mother and son dance!
Bean Counter Cupcakes! Yum.
Julie and Nate having fun in the Photo Booth! So, it is the end of the night. Cody and I are beat. And I realize, “Oh, the ring shot!” I grab an F. Scott Fitzgerald book; on Julie and Nate’s sweetheart table, flip it open, and what is the first thing I see? “Destiny” And it is just one of those moments when Cody and I look at each other and we’re just like, “Woah. No, Really!? WOW.” Yep, how awesome is that?

JULIA+NATHAN
How did you both meet?
Nate: ”Julie and I met at the RISD museum on a Sunday afternoon in December 2011.”
What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?
Julie: ”There were so many special moments, but I have to say being walked down the aisle by my twin brother, and my first dance with Nathan.”
Nate: ”Aside from watching Julie walk down the aisle, I’ll never forget the moving words shared by Julie’s bridesmaids, Alana, Meg, Joey, Marjorie, and Haley, and my best man, Jeff. It was very humbling to feel so much support and love from everyone around us.”
What was the funniest?
Julie: “Probably Nathan’s younger cousins break dancing all by themselves while everyone ate dinner, and then one of them saying his dad bet him $5 to ask me to dance… that, or my uncle trying to photo-bomb everyone’s photo booth pictures!” Nate: ”A few of my friends and I are huge Seinfeld fans. Andrew requested “Shining Star” by Earth, Wind & Fire, which is the song Elaine infamously danced to at the J. Peterman holiday party. So four of us did “the little kicks.””Advice for future couples?
Julie: ”Always be communicative – stay honest with each other, and don’t put off talking about something until it becomes a bigger problem later on. Share your thoughts and feelings, and strive to be a respectful listener.”
Nate: “Communicate, be patient, and show your spouse that you appreciate him/her in some way each day by doing something thoughtful.”
