We are usually somewhat apprehensive about winter weddings, with the crazy New England weather being kind of dicy. From a photography standpoint, they can be either an extreme challenge or a total walk in the park. Jerrica and Jared had the most beautiful, intimate winter wedding which made our job that much easier. There were enough little details to compliment the rustic look and feel of the Old Mill, but also not detract from its appeal. The splash of color from the bridesmaids dresses and the corresponding ties on the groomsmen were just enough to brighten up a cold wintery day.
Jerrica’s sister, Jocelyn, made this incredibly detailed cake.
Audrey was in love with the super cute ring box!
Such a great idea for a “guest book”. LOVE the J+J on the tree.

How did you both meet?
Jerrica: “We grew up in Sterling together, but we reconnected via the Sterling Nursery School in June 2013, which he & his family runs. My daughter, Anjolie, attended the Sterling Nursery School for the summer where she was attached to Jared’s hip every single day from day one.”
What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?
Jerrica: ”This question is very difficult to answer as the whole day was just absolutely perfect, but I would have to say my favorite part was turing the corner to walk down the isle with my father & the first moment I saw Jared. He looked so handsome & the smile on his face was just priceless.”
Jared: ”I could not believe the beautiful sunny day we had in February, but the most memorable moment of my wedding was no doubt the moment Jerrica came in to the door way. As soon as I saw her I was over whelmed with joy and was smiling greater than I ever had before.”
What was the funniest?
Jerrica: “There were far too many laughs & funny moments to really establish just one!” Jared: ”Taking pictures with the guys.” Aww thanks Jared, you are too sweet!Advice for future brides and grooms?
Jerrica: ”To never take one another for granted & to truly cherish each and every single moment/day together. Life is short, don’t stress the small stuff. Always let your spouse know how much they mean to you & never miss a moment to express your love for them. Enjoy your life together – honesty & communication are extremely important in the success of any relationship.”
Jared: “Don’t ever stop talking or caring about the small things… truly love…spend time to enjoy each other and one another’s interests…always be true and strongly enjoy life.”
