The Big House is an antique estate home originating from the late 1800s and is the star of the estate. It is bright and beautifully kept boasting 6 bedrooms, a sunroom, a library, a game room and several sitting rooms. The rooms include many original pieces from the original homestead. The Big House is the perfect backdrop for getting ready before your wedding. It can also sleep 13 if you want on site lodging for your wedding weekend experience.
From the Big House, the lawn rolls down to the ceremony area overlooking beautiful Lake Quaboag. You can get married under the large Pine Beam Arbor, while your guests sit on beautiful large wooden benches. The J-House is next to the ceremony area and is a perfect groomsmen hang out spot.
The Tent is a gorgeous space for your reception and can accommodate 200 guests. It is a 50 x 90 foot Navi-Trac tent with the options of open sides or clear panels, always feeling open and bright. The floor is stamped concrete and the ceiling is adored with four crystal chandeliers.
Hanging lights bring you out of the tent and step down to the Cocktail Patio. The patio is cozy and surrounded by beautiful landscaping.
The Outdoor Fireplace is close by and surrounded by Adirondack chairs. This is the perfect spot for a late night fire and snacks.
Oakholm also offers an in-ground pool, tennis court, basketball hoop, pool table, ping pong table, boathouse with kayaks, fishing, and trails.
