WPI Higgins House Engagement: Sabina & Matt
When your engagement session feels like stepping into a storybook, you know it’s going to be good. Sabina and Matt’s WPI Higgins House engagement session in Worcester, MA had all the magic—ivy-covered brick, winding garden paths, castle-like architecture, and just the right amount of giggling and dancing.
Hidden on the campus of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, the Higgins House garden is one of those secret gems that feels like you’ve left the world behind. Enclosed by walls and surrounded by greenery, it’s a favorite quiet spot for students to escape the hustle—whether for a peaceful date, a study break, or some reflective alone time. For Sabina and Matt, it was the perfect setting to celebrate their engagement.
These two had an amazing time during their session. They explored the garden hand-in-hand, laughed their way through a few spins and twirls, and didn’t stop smiling. They’re the kind of couple that’s just effortlessly fun together—and it shows.
As the session wrapped up, a light sprinkle of rain started—but I always come prepared. A little rain never stops the magic. I pulled out my flashes and created some truly dreamy rain-lit portraits that might just be my favorite from the entire shoot. (Scroll to the bottom to see the magic!)

Sabina and Matt are getting married at Fern Hill Barn and if this session is any indication, it’s going to be one unforgettable, joy-filled day.
Engaged and thinking about photos? The Higgins House at WPI is one of my favorite Worcester engagement session locations—secluded, romantic, and full of charm.
Reach out and let’s plan a session that’s true to you.
Much Love!
Audrey
