Publick House Wedding
Lindsay and Michael had a beautiful Publick House Wedding this March, despite the freezing rain. After the winter we’ve had, what else could we expect? Regardless, the day was beautiful and went off without a hitch. Lindsay and Michael are super sweet and down to earth, which showed throughout their planning and wedding day. We really could not be more happy for these two. By the way, their thoughts reflecting back on the day are adorable, but you’ll have to read them for yourself at the end of this post.
Thank you Lindsay and Michael! We loved capturing your wedding day.
Much Love!

LINDSAY&MICHAEL
How did you both meet?
Lindsay: “We met when I started working as a cashier at Brooks Pharmacy. Mike was a shift supervisor and we became fast friends because he let me goof off and hang out in the office with him.”
Michael: “We worked at a local drug store. I was a junior in high school and Lindsay was a sophomore. I was her boss…things have definitely changed in that respect!”
What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?
Lindsay: “The most memorable part of the wedding day for me was when we saw each other for the first time during our first look pictures. I could hear my heart beating in my chest as I walked towards him and I’ll never forget the feeling of him turning around and seeing me for the first time.”
Michael: “Turning around to see Lindsay for the first look. She took my breath away. I will never forget that moment.”
What was the funniest?
Lindsay: “The funniest moment was seeing my 84 year old grandmother kicking her legs and shaking her tail feather on the dance floor. I hope I still have those moves when I’m her age.”
Michael: “ Lindsay’s Gram and Bob breaking it down on the dance floor. I didn’t know Gram could move like that.”
Advice for future couples?
Lindsay: “Don’t get bogged down in the details. Remember what the day is really about. You will have the time of your life and marry your best friends regardless of what your centerpieces look like or if things don’t go exactly as planned. Most importantly, hire the right people to help you. Having a good team of people around you making sure everything goes smoothly takes the stress off of you.”
Michael: “It sounds cliché but enjoy every minute, even the stressful planning part. It really does go by in the blink of an eye. Advice for the nervous groom: Once she walks into the room she is the only one there.”
