OLD STURBRIDGE VILLAGE WEDDING- STURBRIDGE, MA
Ahhhhh, we love this wedding, folks. And we love Jenn and Ben! They had a gorgeous Old Sturbridge Village Wedding on a beautiful April day. Sometimes the smaller, intimate weddings are just the best. Jenn and Ben had amazing and heartfelt responses to our usual wedding day questions, but you have to go to the bottom of this post to read them all. One hint for all you Central Mass kids: Ralph’s. Period. Thumbs up if you know what we mean!
And we started off this post with our favorite images from their big day.
Jenn & Ben, So. Much. Fun. Thank you both!
Much Love!

We had to include this outtake that we like to call “sexy-leg”, which Ben recounted as his funniest wedding moment (see below). This all started back at their engagement session when we were prompting Jenn with posing, and then Ben took it to the next level! So Ben, this one’s for you. Keep calm & sexy-leg on!

JENN&BEN
How did you both meet?
Jenn: “Ben and I knew each other for years through his cousin, but never connected at family functions. Then we ran into each other one night at Ralph’s and it’s been magic ever since.”
Ben: “One fateful night at the most upscale night spot in worcester (Ralphs). I was wearing a pink shirt, she was wearing a flower shirt and the reddest lipstick I had ever seen. I knew then and there she was something special.”
What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?
Jenn: “It’s so hard to choose just one! Seeing as though you are making me choose, I’m going to say the carriage ride after the ceremony. It was great to have hugged and kissed all our family and friends in the receiving line and then be able to have 15 minutes to ourselves. It was absolutely perfect! We soaked up all the excitement and love that just happened and got to just be with each other without any commotion. Then we picked up the lovely Sarah and Allison at the tail end and they are just the best. ”
Ben: “My most memorable part of the day was the anticipation and hearing her footsteps coming up behind me at our first look. She looked amazing, the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.”
What was the funniest?
Jenn: “Ben and his cousin Dan have an amazingly funny and loving relationship. During the reception, Dan kept calling Ben to discuss how things were going. I think he missed having him at this table, just a little bite.”
Ben: “Reviving the sexy-leg”
Advice for future couples?
Jenn: “Make a list and work at it little by little. It takes all the stress away! The month before the wedding, I had nothing left to do! Also, remember it is your wedding! Thank everyone for their opinion, but try not to take it to heart.”
Ben: “Communication is key. Someone is always going to take the lead but both parties should have equal input.”
