Old Sturbridge Village Wedding on the Green
Sturbridge MA
Judith & Russell
We are so excited to share Judith and Russell’s Old Sturbridge Village wedding with you, but first – SCANDAL! In the beginning these two had to keep their relationship a secret. Gasp, say what!? We’ll give you a hint: Judith and Russell met in college. They tell their own story best, so we will let you read their own words for yourself at the bottom of this post.
These two could not adore each other any more! Of course we could already see this, but their respect and adoration for one another was so apparent throughout the day. Their personally written vows visibly touched every guest in attendance. The incredibly kind words said at the reception by both their parents, friends and sibling spoke to how deep a connect these two share. As well as how much they are cared about by their loved ones.
It was an honor to be a part of your day. Congratulations again Judith & Russell!
Much Love!
Audrey

Judith & Russell
How did you both meet?
Judith: “Russell was my RA when I began my freshman year of college at Syracuse University. What started out as a friendship blossomed into more within a few weeks of getting to know each other. I was happy to keep our relationship a secret for the year so that Russell wouldn’t lose his job/room & board.”
Russell: “Judith and I met at Syracuse University in the fall of 2011. I was her RA, which was a bit scandalous. We had to keep our relationship a secret for most of the academic year, because I could lose my job if my boss found out. Fortunately he didn’t, and it was worth the extra effort in the end!”
What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?
Judith: “EVERYTHING! The day was perfect from the moment I met Russell at the covered bridge to our last dance of the evening!”
Russell: “Probably our first dance, it meant a lot to us. We danced to that song on the very first night we got together.”
What was the funniest?
Judith: “I loved when Russell and I joined his friends for Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now” on the dance floor. Everyone killed it and it was just awesome to act out the song and dance theatrically with all of our friends.”
Russell: “Our DJ Greg’s one-liner to the Matron of Honor during her speech. She made two cracks at the Red Sox, got some boo’s on the second one and said ‘I’m holding the microphone’ to which Greg quickly responded ‘I’m controlling the volume.'”
Advice for future married couples (in regards to planning a wedding)?
Judith: “Don’t sweat the small stuff. Always make choices with the both of you in mind. Stay organized. Love every minute!!!””
Russell: “Start early. Lock in your venue and vendors with ample time ahead of the big day. And make lots of to-do lists!”

“Best Decision We Made”
“To us, the most important decision for our wedding was hiring photographers that could truly capture our day, so that we could relive each moment large and small for years to come. The most important decision we made turned out to be the absolute best decision in hiring Audrey and Cody for our big day! Not only are they incredible photographers, they are true artists, and we could not be more thrilled with all they’ve captured for us.Throughout the entire process, leading up to, during and after our wedding, they were consistently supportive, patient, friendly and insightful. We didn’t have a worry in the world with them at the helm capturing our ceremony and reception. We’ve been blown away by their professionalism and dedication to providing us with all the beautiful moments from our wedding and we can’t wait to work with them again. If you’re looking for an incredible couple of photographers, you’ve found them in Audrey and Cody!”
