Golden Lamb Buttery Wedding
Golden Lamb Buttery was the perfect venue for Erica and Dillon. A little but of rustic and a little bit of country. The day’s weather started off questionable, but it turned into the the most beautiful afternoon. I just love the sun in October, it is probably my favorite. As the sun is getting lower in the sky this time of year, it is warm and soft. So good. The beautiful ceremony was in the field just before sunset and the reception was in the warm barn. Tables were throughout the old farm house with family style dining. Later, as the sun set, the fog rolled in and created a beautiful back drop for a few more photo opportunities. We will start off with a few of those gorgeous fog images at sunset.
Thank you Erica & Dillon! We had SO much fun.
Much Love!
Audrey & Cody

How did you both meet?
Dillon: “I have known Erica forever. Our fathers have been close friends for a long time. However, my earliest memories of Erica date back to the 6th grade where I asked her to be my girlfriend. After about a week of sharing seats at lunch and hanging out at lockers in between classes she broke up with me at a CRA dance. We continued our friendship through high school and into college where we reunited our 6th grade relationship and truly fell in love.”
What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?
Erica: “The most memorable part of my wedding day was watching everyone have fun and enjoy themselves. I had moments where I just watched and took it all in. Our first dance was also something I’ll never forget. We practiced over and over and I was so proud of us when we finished!”
Dillon: “Waiting in the garden of the Golden Lamb Buttery for our first look. When the time came, I could hear her getting close as her dress brushed past all of the wild flowers. She walked up behind me grabbed my hand and turned me around. Seeing her in the dress for the first time will be a memory I’ll have forever!”
What was the funniest?
Erica: “The funniest moment of the day was when my dad and his best friend Horrace got up on stage and lip sync’d the song In the Jungle. Horrace came out from the loft of the barn in a leopard dress, wig and fake boobs. It is a performance from his show The Great Pretenders and he performed it with my dad. This was a total surprise for me! The groomsmen were the back up dancers and it was hilarious!!!”
Dillon: “The funniest moment was when Erica’s father Jim and close friend Horrace Greeley performed a lip sync duet to In The Jungle. I thought Jim was going to sing Happy Birthday to Erica. Then Horry came down from the loft in a tiger dress and the two of them put on quite the performance! The place went crazy!”
Advice for future couples?
Erica: “Try to enjoy it and not get stressed out! Stay organized and have fun with it. Dillon and I had a blast going to tastings, expos, taking dance lessons, meeting with people and crafting for the wedding. It brings you closer together and is something we will never forget. Also….I don’t know what people did before Pinterest! Haha”
Dillon: “Google “Wedding Timelines”…they helped us stay motivated and on schedule. Most importantly make sure to enjoy the whole process. Don’t settle and explore options. These 15 months of wedding planning created the most memorable day of my life.”
