Ashley and Dustin had a rustic seaside wedding ceremony at Popham Beach and then a fun lobster bake at Sebasco Harbor Resort. Ashley and Dustin are high school sweethearts, so for many people, this wedding was a long time coming. They spent a lot of time planning every detail carefully.
Now, you all know how we love when our couples choose the details of their wedding with care and meaning. Popham Beach is so important to Dustin’s family, who have been spending summers there for all of his life. More on his family’s connection later 😉 Of course their ceremony was gorgeous, and their reception at Sebasco Harbor Resort was a blast! This group knew how to tear up the dance floor.
Thank you for a fabulous weekend in such a beautiful location!
Much Love!

Ashley getting ready. Check out that sail boat wall paper! The bouquets were gorgeous and smelled amazing with the eucalyptus!Simply stunning.Dustin getting ready with his Dad and brother. They don’t all look a like, do they!? 😉Time to get married!!! Popham Beach State Park. Here comes Ashley! What a great entrance.Overflowing with emotion! We paused for a quick shot of the entire group on the beach! And they are off!The bridal party at Fort Popham. PS. We are super excited for Ashley’s sister and maid of honor, Erica’s, wedding in just a few short weeks!Fort Popham was a great place for photos. We were so glad that Ashley and Dustin took us there. The view! Every where you turn is gorgeous.More about Dustin’s family, who have been visiting Popham Beach since 1958: So we took this image of Ashley and Dustin walking down the beach. We just love it and posted it on Facebook as a sneak peek right after their wedding. Little did we know that this image would remind Dustin’s father, Bart, of another photo. The photo he had taken of his parents, the last time they walked Popham Beach together. Cody and I are reminded that what we do really is important. We love that couples, and their families, take the time to share their stories with us. We love helping make new memories too. Examples like this are what makes this job so worth while. Our picture of Ashley and Dustin is on the left. Dustin’s grandparents are on the right (taken by Bart Hill). We made a stop at Ocean View Park Campground at Popham Beach. Dustin grew up going to this very cabin so photos here were a must have.Back to Sebasco Harbor Resort for the festivities. Look at that amazing light house at Sebasco! The light was gorgeous. The reception was in The Clipper and had a rustic seaside wedding theme. So laid back and fun! The first dance! Look at this group! So excited!Heartfelt toasts made by Ashley’s sister, Erica, and by Dustin’s brother, John! The lobsters, steaming in seaweed over hot coals. Yum.Super cute cake. Accompanied by cupcakes and pies. The cake cutting, which ended with an impromptu smooch! The parent dances! This group was lively on the dance floor! Two ring shots, because we just could not pick.
